“The Father’s Keep”

When God looked in your heart,
He was so incredibly proud
That He called forth His angels,
Who were resting on clouds

And said, “Bring me this child,
Who has loved Me so well
And when he arrives,
You must ring out the bells.

For despite his suffering,
And all he’s been through
It is well with his soul
And his heart remains true.

He has trusted in Me,
Turning right from wrong
And in the Earth realm
He no longer belongs.”

So, away you flew
To where we could not go,
Our hearts broken in pieces,
Because we missed you so.

But we know where you are,
It is a place that we seek,
The paradise of Heaven,
In our Father’s keep.
